If anyone has noticed, it's halloween. I HATE halloween because I am a fraidy cat. Everything that isn't the cute ghosts, smiling pumpkins, and black cats FREAK me out.  However, I can still get into the halloween spirt. On our street, something called a "BOO" happens. A "BOO" is when someone leaves a bucket of halloween treats on your front step. They leave a little note that has a poem, instructions, and a "BOO" sign. You hang the "BOO" sign on your door to tell people you've already got a "BOO". Then, you photocopy the 3 slips of paper you have and make 2 more "BOO"s for two other people. Just in case you want to start a "BOO" on your street, I have posted the poem, directions, and "BOO" slogan below.

Poem:
Soon Halloween will come to all.
The spook are after something to do.
In fact, a spook brought this to you.
"BOO" is a sheild from the witching hour,
Just hang it up and watch it's power.
On your front door is where it works.
It wards off spooks and scary jerks.

The treats that come this cryptic scrawl,
Are yours tokeep, enjoy them all.
The power comes from friends like you,
Copy this and make it TWO.
The others here among your friends, 
Will spread the spirit that never ends.
We all have a smile upon our face.
No one knows who "BOO"'ed our place.
Just A FEW SHORT DAYS TO WORK YOUR SPELL
And the great punpkin will wish you well.
Don't forget a nifty treat like something cute or somthing sweet.

Directions:

  1. Enjoy your treat.
  2. Hang the "BOO" on yor front door.
  3. Now you have 48 hours to copy this twice. Make two treats and two "BOO"s and secrretly deliver them to 2 neighbors who do not have a "BOO" on their front door.
  4. Watch how far it spreads by Halloween!!!
